The fixture is fixed in the Vertical Front Base.
The adjustment works completely tool-free.
The device is supplied with 3 fixed angles as standard.
These are 15°, 20° and 25°.
To achieve these degrees, the angle blocks were milled to 17.5, 22 and 27.5 degrees.
This means that with a standard knife, which has a blade approx. 2.5 mm thick, the 15, 20 or 25° can be achieved fairly accurately.
Please note that the actual ground angle changes depending on the blade geometry.
As an example, a chef’s knife which has a spine of 2.5mm will come out to about 14° with the 15° angle.
