Bess Tester PT50A measures in 1g increments

Unlike the PT50B (also available in the store), this device measures the sharpness of the knife in 1 gram increments.

It is also much more accurate with 50 measurements per second than the PT50B which makes 10 measurements per second.This device is ingenious for measuring the sharpness of a cutting edge.

Ideal for self-control of your grinding results.

By placing the knife on the surface and slowly pressing it down (best done with our device for exact measurement of sharpness)

on a certified thread is measured the weight needed to cut this thread through.

The table specially designed by Mike Brubacher provides feedback on the sharpness of the knife.

All devices of the PT50 series have been tested and certified by BESS Universal for use with BESS-certified test media containers.
